Marx and Engels’s “German Ideology” Manuscripts: Presentation and Analysis of the “Feuerbach Chapter”

Marx and Engels's "German Ideology" Manuscripts: Presentation and Analysis of the "Feuerbach Chapter" By Terrell Carver, Daniel Blank
2014 | 400 Pages | ISBN: 1137485434 | PDF | 3 MB

Marx and Engels’s “German Ideology” Manuscripts: Presentation and Analysis of the “Feuerbach Chapter”
Since the 1920s, scholars have promoted a set of manuscripts, long abandoned by Marx and Engels, to canonical status in book form as The German Ideology, and in particular its 'first chapter,' known as 'I. Feuerbach.' Part one of this revolutionary study relates in detail the political history through which these manuscripts were editorially fabricated into editions and translations, so that they could represent an important exposition of Marx's 'theory of history.' Part two presents a wholly-original view of the so-called 'Feuerbach' manuscripts in a page-by-page English-language rendition of these discontinuous fragments. By including the hitherto devalued corrections that each author made in draft, the new text invites the reader into a unique laboratory for their collaborative work. An 'Analytical Introduction' shows how Marx's and Engels's thinking developed in duologue as they altered individual words and phrases on these 'left-over' polemical pages.

Survival Colony 9

FREEDownload : Survival Colony 9

Joshua David Bellin "Survival Colony 9"
Margaret K. McElderry Books | English | September 23, 2014 | ISBN: 1481403540 | 336 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,2 mb
A very intriguing read with a clever breed of new monsters to keep you uncertain and shaken right up to the end. SC9 is a psychological battlefield on two fronts: first and most importantly in the fragile minds and group psyche of the colonists, who must constantly wrestle with how to save themselves without loosing their humanity; and second, in the mind of the reader, who will enjoy no shortage of causes to second-guess with great satisfaction every development in the story.

Survival Colony 9
Well-written, SC9 is deliberately metered and thoughtful, expertly so, but also to a fault. Action junkies best seek their fix in less cerebral corners of the saturated genre (though fear not, flamethrower fans there's plenty of napalm to smell in the morning within these pages). If you're curious about the very real day-to-day tension of surviving a living nightmare from which the characters of a barren post-apocalyptic landscape can never awaken, you'll find great rewards lurking inside these pages.
